WWE Week Kicks Off

WWE Week Kicks off December 20th on USA Network and I know where my husband and my son will be glued every night along with myself.

As we embark on the Holiday Season our friends at WWE and USA Network have an exciting line up kicking off on Sunday December 20th with already a family favorite of ours Santa’s Lil Helper. The movie staring Mike the Miz and WWE Diva Paige an original comedy from WWE and 20th Century Fox will even put Bray Wyatt in the holiday spirit.

Our traditional Monday Night of our family gathering on the couch will get a little better on December 21st when Monday Night Raw is live from Minneapolis. Not your ordinary Monday Night Raw,  because of the  annual fan voted Slammy Awards. The Slammy’s honor the best of the year with their own golden statue, of course Roman Reigns has my vote for best EVERYTHING.

Tuesday December 22nd SMACKDOWN will be back live from Des Moines, boy do I miss Smackdown on Tuesdays. Almost a year later and I can’t get used to the Thursday schedule. I can’t wait to see what Superstars and Divas will be headlining.

Growing up over the holidays I remember watching Bob Hopes Tribute to the Troops. WWE has done a fantastic job now in it’s 13th year with WWE Tribute to the Troops. WWE brings together the best of sports entertainment, pop entertainment , and celebrity appearances. This tribute to honor and thank the servicemen and women who protect our country is a favorite of mine. In past years I have  recorded and watch over again throughout the holiday season. What a way to give back to those who give so much.

WWE Week not only takes over night-time viewing but daytime on USA as well from 11am-3pm on Monday December 21st – Friday December 25th.  Cat Greenleaf will be conducting interviews from her iconic stoop. These are sure to be revealing and interesting chats.

Be Sure to show your support on Social Media during WWE Week on USA Network by getting social using #Troops, @tributetotroops, @USA_Network , and of course me @notartar2 and my favorite #WWEMoms.

For 12 consecutive years, WWE has been entertaining American military personnel both overseas and domestically as a way to thank them for their commitment to our country.  WWE Chairman & CEO, Vince McMahon said “Our servicemen and women work tirelessly for our freedom and we are proud to continue our Tribute to the Troops tradition.”

WWE Tribute to the Troops will chronicle WWE’s visit to United States Army post Fort Benning.  WWE Superstars and Divas spent two days giving back to those who serve and their families with hospital visits and Be a STAR anti-bullying rallies. Fort Benning supports more than 120,000 active-duty military, family members, reserve soldiers, retirees, and civilian employees and has been the home of the Infantry division since 1918.

The television special will also highlight WWE’s annual goodwill visit to our troops who are fighting for our freedom overseas. WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon, WWE Superstars Big Show® and R-Truth® and WWE Divas Summer Rae™ and Alicia Fox™ will travel abroad to spread some holiday cheer to the men and women serving our country far from home during the holiday season.

WWE’s dedication to the military is a long-standing tradition that continues year-round, through programs that boost morale for soldiers, offer free tickets for active servicemen and women, and provide workforce assistance for veterans through a partnership with Hire Heroes USA.

The highlight of my week during WWE WEEK on USA Network will be WWE Tribute to the Troops. All last week I enjoyed watching  my favorite WWE Superstars and Divas sharing pictures on their social media outlets.
